The Book Database Project is an ongoing effort to build a book database that allows users to find books based on a wide range of characteristics, from genre to romantic trope to type of fantasy elements. This is meant to help readers find new books to read and authors find potential comp titles for queries.

This project came out of my frustration with trying to find potential comp titles when querying and with the limitations of the book filtering on many websites. The goal here is to be useful to you, so I am open to suggestions!

What you see here will change regularly as I continue to build out and refine it, but the goal is only to add functionality, never remove it.
